Title: Insults: Alexa vs. The_Evil_Reaper
Description: Shotguns vs. Rage

Fomorian - August 3, 2007 02:38 PM (GMT)
So, due to rather quick finish of the recent battle, we've got another insults coming. Alexa contra The Reaper! Let the fight begin! :sinister:

Alexa - August 3, 2007 02:49 PM (GMT)
Ah!Let's make a show worthy the watch finally, shall we?

I let my opponent start the fight. After he cures his wounds he got while running onto a tree. :D

Fomorian - August 3, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
(I think you meant running OFF the tree :D)

:munch:

Alexa - August 3, 2007 03:13 PM (GMT)
Naw,he ran onto a tree, because I wanted to try off a new plastic surgeon method...The one with shovel, you know ;)

The_Evil_Reaper - August 3, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
Hmpf, like I need my wounds healed to battle someone as puny as you, I could win with my hands behind my back!

So, Alexa, tell me... Why is it you're complaining and whining about the one thing you love doing the most, namely, art? Doesn't that make you, I donno, a hypocrite?

Alexa - August 3, 2007 06:44 PM (GMT)
Didya know how it is to be doing one thing most of time and still trying to be devoted to it,although it's hard? No?I'm not suprised.Your limited right hemisphere would not understand it,and left hemisphere doesn't count in art.Luckily,I tried to measure the weight of my brain and, thankfully, both hemispheres have same weight.Must be because of the philosophy I'm into. :D

Hey,Reaper,I still don't get how can you be yet undecided about your doctor specialization.I wonder how many of your future patients would die from a heart attack, when they hear this.

The_Evil_Reaper - August 4, 2007 02:59 PM (GMT)
Well, I'm glad you weighed your hemispheres and stuff, but the weight doesn't determine what you actually use, now does it? Besides, since when does philosophy weigh anything anyway?

Yes, It's my study. I love doing it most of the times, and it comes first for almost anything. Even though it's vacation, I can't wait to learn new stuff.

Well, maybe, but I'm sorry I'm not yet determined on become an "oncologist" or "cardiologist" yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open, I have a feeling I'll be drifting in the direction I'm meant to go at, finding my way as I go.

What about you? You're almost 16 now, with a clear perception of what you want to become and how you're going to accomplish it. When will you stop to smell the roses? What if that what you always wanted, isn't what you always wanted?

Alexa - August 4, 2007 03:19 PM (GMT)
Philosophy does have an meaning weight, doc.Since the Earth's spinning together with other planets!...Or mabye brain impulse has a weight?Since electricity is caused by electrons, and those have a weight...

Brilliant,but why don't you grab a book and study now,if you're that eager? :P

Waiting till you start to drift in the blood and other biological fluids.I thought doctor's job means being certain about what you do?

Ah,Reaper. You're saying, that I've got a clear idea of what I'm going to do,and then you say I might not enjoy it?I'm sitting deeply enough in drawings to know how does this business taste.I know all it's advantages and disadvantages and I use my knowledge to develop goddamn best drawings for your viewing pleasure. And you say, that I can hate the thing, that I know, love and I'm devoted to?I rule the painting medium, not otherwise.

JFSOCC - August 5, 2007 04:07 PM (GMT)
"so's your face!"

Alexa - August 5, 2007 04:39 PM (GMT)
Sheeesh, you're not fighting here!Go back to the corner and behave!

Lightweight - August 5, 2007 05:11 PM (GMT)
Sorry, he got out.

[pulls out taser and gives chase]

Do continue.

*runs of with Lightweight giving chase*
"yo momma is so.."
*sounds fade in the distance*

Fomorian - August 6, 2007 12:43 PM (GMT)
OUT! :P Stay in the audience!

(this is more of a discussion than an insult battle, but I'm fine with that)

Than it's not philosophy that has the weight, just the thought. A person might a well be thinking "apple" and that would way the same as a philosophy. Some things can't be brought back to materials...

First of all, the reason I don't study now is that I don't know where to begin, there's so many info in the books, that I wouldn't know what's important and what's not. Secondly, I know when to let go... vacation is(for me) for seeing friend and taking breaks, even from things you love.

That's the thing Alexa, I'm not a doctor yet, I don't have to be certain yet. I can still be dreamy and indecisive for a few years before I have to decide whether someone lives or dies.

You misinterpret me, I'm not saying you won't enjoy(or "hate" as you so thoughtfully put it) art after all those years. I'm saying you might find something else, something you might have never thought of at the first place. You can't predict the future Alexa, no one can. Maybe, you'll give up your dream to be with a person, who will tell?

Fomorian - August 9, 2007 07:36 AM (GMT)
(How much time do you guys need to finish this battle? In short, when do you want it finished?)

The_Evil_Reaper - August 9, 2007 06:38 PM (GMT)
(Donno, I got to start it from Alexa, so she can finish it... I'm still waiting for a response...)

Alexa - August 9, 2007 06:59 PM (GMT)
(Sorry, guys.I had no net connection yeasterday,i'd have a response then.)

Accent on "some" word.

Forgive me,thus I am loaded with work and forgot what is fun!I am too limited to have breaks and rest from school work!

Still. At this point, you should have at least a slight idea of what do you want to be.I don't mean planning every second of your life, just a circle of professions of your interest. That would make your life a lot easier later, don'tcha think?

I bet 10 dollars,that I'll become a person,who's job description says "connected with art".You in? :D

The_Evil_Reaper - August 9, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
Well, some times you have to just the time to lie in the grass and think about all the things you still have left to do...

I don't believe spending all your time on just one thing is good, even if you get really good at that one thing. Some times I've decided to hang out with friends instead of studying, which would have been the wiser decision. I think about what I need to do and what I want to do, and then do what I think is best at that time.
Sometimes I think I made the bad decision, not going out with friends studying for a test I flunked horribly, or playing a game instead of studying. But you learn from those occasions, you fall flat on your face, and just stand up a little wiser.
If you spend your time at just one thing, you'll never you what it would be like without it... I don't want to spend my time wondering "What if?".

Perhaps a clear vision of what I want to become exactly would be handy, but I believe I will decide the right thing when the time comes, and if I don't, I'll learn from it. That's my perception of things, and I've always managed to take the right decision so far.

Sure, you love art enough not be "connected" somehow, but maybe you'll become a writer, who also illustrates her books. Maybe you'll fall in love with something you can combine with being artist, who will tell? I sure won't ;)

(Ok, this is defenitely a discussion, we're not even insulting each other any more)

JFSOCC - August 9, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
ok I'll add an insult then: you always get your insights from scrubs? why don't you go and climb the meiffel tower then!

(sorry I just can't help myself)

Fomorian - August 10, 2007 10:26 AM (GMT)
Tell me, JF, which part of "Go and stick your head in duck's butt" you didn't get? (:P)

Fomorian - August 13, 2007 08:36 AM (GMT)
So, you want to start the poll?

The_Evil_Reaper - August 13, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
Erhm, Ok! Alexa hasn't been to active lately, I don't blame her with all the art and stuff... so start the poll and we'll see who comes out on top! :)

May the best MAN win!

Fomorian - August 14, 2007 07:57 AM (GMT)
Very funny, Reaper :P The voting has been started!

The_Evil_Reaper - August 14, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
Hehe, just had to make it :P

I'm not gonna vote, because... well just because I can!

Lightweight - August 14, 2007 05:26 PM (GMT)
Hmm... who to vote for, who to vote for...

Well, either I go with the Jack Thompson of the BG&E revolution, or with the boring one? Who will make a worthwhile contender against me?

Lightweight - August 21, 2007 03:23 PM (GMT)
Ok... what happened here? 3 votes? numerous weeks without possible end to this? Anybody home, managing this? Get this show on the road, already!

The_Evil_Reaper - August 21, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
Don't know, Fomorian is the Arena guy

Lightweight - August 21, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
Fomorian, upon being named admin, left his post as Battle Arena mod. I asked for the job, but it's still in the air. What can I say?

Cpt. Oleander - August 21, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
I'll be honest with you. Both of you did a bloody crummy job at an insult topic. If I laughed once, it was because of JFSOCC's antics more than anything. Still, I shall give my vote to whoever gave the best attempt at an insult.

Fomorian - August 22, 2007 09:06 AM (GMT)
OK, tomorrow I'm closing this battle. Those, who didn't vote, have got the last chance to do it :)

My apologies, but I can't really insult a person who doesn't throw it back my way. And, as stupid as it sounds, I don't actually want to insult a person. For me it's just playful banter, but I won't say anything I know could actually hurt the person. That's why it was easier between me and Fomorian, since we didn't really cared what we called each other...

Anyway, I'm sorry for being boring... but it's always better than having your face! HA! :superior:

Fomorian - August 23, 2007 09:48 AM (GMT)
Right... khm, well, we've got the winner - The_Evil_Reaper!
