Title: More "homey" feeling to BGE

When I thought about BGE, I noticed that there was something missing (for me): A more homey feeling, a stronger link of Jade (and her companions) to the world.
For example, what I liked to have there are scenes (not necessarily cutscenes) where Jade brings the orphans to bed, or eats with them. Or eats/sleeps herself. Or even the responsibility to buy food for the kids, even if that would be a bit exaggerated. All in all, in my opinion it would create more depth and provide more background information - and, see objective, the game would be longer.
What do you think?

Naw, those are typhical in fanwork, but not in games. And it'd better stay that way.

I think the oppurtunity has been missed on this one. Although the opening part of the game could be made more "homey", this would have only come with bringing in more emotional bonds to the lighthouse and orphans, which would dilute the peyj-o-centric plotline. Also, wandering round the orphanage, Jade isn't really that bonded to them- They're just random kids they look after. I think there's even one where the convo is "Are you ready to tell me your name yet?" or something.
BG&E2 looks to be shaping up to have Jade becoming more independent and strong, what with the new graphics and huge, vast space, it feels more mature through that, and I think it will have Jade leaving the orphanage behind. If anything, it should have Less homely feel, and more like an untouched, open world, in contrast to the quite claustrophobic barriers and canals of hillys.

A more "homey" feeling would make the game to real, and I think that we as fans won't really like that. Some things aren't meant to change, it would spoil our ideas of the best game ever, and trust me on that, it happens all the time
