Sigs a little basic, but thats cs lense flare isnt as prominent and the back is basic sky-ey stuff, normally I go with a space back or whatever... mebbe I should centre the text.. but that makes the heart smaller :(

looks fine, just think that that llama is, for lack of a better phrase, *puke*. you did a great job with the banner though!

I think I like either the purple one because you can read the text soooo clearly, or the silver + green one because you can't read the text at all.

ok. here's my suggestion. squash up the names and the heart in the second picture, toward the right, type out the phrase in the first picture properly and invert the fading so that the text is slightly trasparent but the pic is solid. then minimise the first picture and fade the right hand edge into the other banner. follow?

This is only a rough design.



what i mean is, squash up the names ---> that way, and fit the heart sword picture in the left like the above, but also, let one fade into the other.

ah. I could do the rest, just not the fading into each other....

it's not easy. there are three ways you can do it (that i know of):
1. Crude: copy the image into paint, use airbrush to dust down the edge and then move the image over the banner.
2. Difficult: use word photoshop to fade the edges for you
3. Long: go into word, paste the image, create a box, go to fill effects, set traslucency (see thru, in case y'all don't know) to go from 0% (solid) to 100% (invisible) and plonk the box over the edge of the picture. repeat for all edges and corners.

i tend to do it the third way, but it's difficult to do when using paint as well. i'll give that thing another go now, i think, to prove to myself i can do it if nothing else... *shrugs*. :)

Phil, grea sig it looks good, not sure how it was made without using photoshop, but it looks good. (And, I agree with Fish, mainly because thier are no images of ugly himself...)

Thanks guys......just got a new photo editing program yesterday....and so I reckon it'll take me a few days to figure out what all the tools do.....

what made you say that? just curious, looking throught the last 7 posts.

what photo editing package did you get? is it any good? cos i'm finding doind the simple things in Photoshop quite tricky atm. you know, fading, cropping, tool navigation and the like. i need to use a combination of editing packages, printscreen, copy-paste, paint and word to get the full effects. it's really great combining the different tools.
