Title: no news at leipzig
Description: for as far as I know

JFSOCC - August 30, 2008 05:04 PM (GMT)
I've not paid the closest attention, but I did keep a look out of any mention of BGAE at Leipzig. 10 days past, and I've not heard anything that might have been ignored before.

BG&E Voyager - August 30, 2008 06:39 PM (GMT)
If anything on BG&E 2 was mentioned, it would've been all over the place, and I haven't seen anything :(

Myriad - August 30, 2008 08:55 PM (GMT)
I don't want it to be cancelled...really,it's just strange that there were no news about it,not in the E3,nor in the GC.

Luke-54 - August 30, 2008 10:38 PM (GMT)
Maybe they are still working at it. You know, making a game is a very complicate process.

BG&E Voyager - August 31, 2008 04:24 AM (GMT)
Of course, of course. We're all just so excited that we can't help but wonder ^_^

Fomorian - August 31, 2008 08:02 AM (GMT)
It's the same with Deus Ex 3 - the only news about it was that teaser at the end of last year. No news on E3 or GC either. DX3 and BGE2 must be in a really early phaze of production, if Eidos and Ubi didn't show anything else.

BG&E Voyager - August 31, 2008 03:07 PM (GMT)
Yeah very early. Ubi probably didn't even have a game at all to go with the teaser :P

I think that's rather obvious, the PS3 or XBox360 can't handle the graphics engine they used for that tech demo.

MrStalker - August 31, 2008 04:40 PM (GMT)
Don't hold your breaths.

Tigeris - August 31, 2008 10:31 PM (GMT)
See forum banner I suppose ^_^

What? Mate! I bet that demo is based on PoP engine. This graphic is not as good, as you think, probably they used only hi res textures. Cry Engine offers better details.

Fomorian - September 1, 2008 12:25 PM (GMT)
It's also the same engine (called Anvil) used in Assassin's Creed.

EDIT: Whoops, mistaken. It's Scimitar.

Nimitz_3d - September 1, 2008 02:40 PM (GMT)
Where did you read that Fomorian ?

Fomorian - September 1, 2008 03:07 PM (GMT)
I was meaning the engine used in PoP. Plus, it can be like this, because that's the only engine developed by Ubi. Of course, there is no official confirmation, but still a thing we might be quite sure about it.

Nimitz_3d - September 1, 2008 03:27 PM (GMT)
The engine for bg&e 2 seems to be a new engine from Ubisoft Montpellier.

JFSOCC - September 1, 2008 03:53 PM (GMT)
well I liked the AC and the cryengine both, and both could do BGAE justice.

I don't think so. They don't have enough time/money/Programmers to make a new engine to every new game.

Nimitz_3d - September 1, 2008 08:42 PM (GMT)
We'll see who was right :P.

BG&E Voyager - September 2, 2008 01:13 AM (GMT)
Nimitz has a mysterious know-everything aura about him! :D

Nimitz_3d - September 2, 2008 09:42 AM (GMT)
Haha... ^^

It's just that from what i know it really could be a new engine.

BG&E Voyager - September 2, 2008 01:34 PM (GMT)
I don't know anything about these here engines, i'm just hoping for an awesome looking BG&E 2! :D
