The rules are simple and there is no excuse for violating any one of them.

Synopsis of the Rules
• Do not swear, insult, or verbally attack members
• Do not post links, images, text about explicit material
• Do not give out any illegal activity in form of advice or link or any not so subtle hints
• Do not spam, flood, repeat posts, or otherwise fill a topic with unnecessary content
• Be respectful and kind to members

The synopsis of the rules is what is used as a guideline for moderation. Only if the offence is questioned will we refer to the written code of law. The synopsis should be viewed multiple times to ensure that you at least have an idea of the main guidelines of the forums.

Do not swear
Do not post any offensive language that might offend someone else. Censor bypass is not tolerated. All vulgar language must be completed censored so that it is unknown what is being said. If you have a question about what words are not tolerated do not use the word and ask a moderator. Asking a moderator if a word is offensive that is clearly not tolerated or used in any means will result in a warning.

Certian words, though offencive to some (such as the word damn) are allowed and will only be removed if the word is speciffically offending one or more peoples. Such offences will be judged under the discretion of the Moderator(s) or Admin(s) involved.

No insults or verbally attacking members
This forum is meant to provide a fun, friendly, peaceful atmosphere for gamers to talk, discuss, and help. This forum is a resource and a community that you get help from not get angry at. It is a place to stop and help out, not to stop and let your aggression out. Under the discretion of the Mods and Admins members who are too agressive will receive punishments ranging from warnings to permanent bans.

VERY IMPORTANT...

If you are victim to any offensive user then do not retaliate or you are also at fault of verbally attacking members. Users have three options of recourse....

A. Email/PM the moderators/adminstrators, directing them to the individual and thread that the problem occurs in.

B. Resolve the problem between both of you via email/PM.

C. Post in the Feedback and Chat section of this forum about your problem.

Reacting to a hostile post with more hostility puts YOU in jeopardy, and risks you being warned or banned.

If you have a complaint against one of the moderators or administrators handle this in private email/PM not in the forum. Or, contact another mod/adim about the issue.

Do post any links to explicit material
Do not post links to pornographic images and material or any other content that a teenager would not be allowed to read or see. Do not post pornographic images on the board or in the avatar/signature. Also, do not discuss any topic that a teenager would not feel comfortable talking about (Ex. sex life, drugs, illegal activity).
Any offence will result in a ban.

Do not deal in illegal activities
Do not offer links, advice, or suggestions describing how to perform or attain illegal activities or materials. This includes but is not limited to warez, reproduction of copy written material (like roms), underage drinking, doing drugs, stealing, etc. This is not only a forum rule but is also a law in many countries that is punishable and can come with a hefty fine and/or jail time. Breaking this will result in a ban of length decided by staff depending on severity of the offence.

Do not spam, fluff, pimp, or advertise
Do not use this site as a billboard to advertise with the sole intention to get people to click to your site. Spamming and pimping is using this site to get/gain clicks on your site for the purpose of boosting your personal money made from potential advertisers. It also includes but is not limited to gaining personal profit, gaining clicks for rank or notability and posting a site that is intentionally trying to mislead members, etc.

A fluff is a spam with an effect to you personal with out profit to any individual. Do not respond to a topic that is intentionally off topic or you also be guilty of posting unnecessary content. Here is the definition that the staff uses when moderating a fluff topic or post.

• a post which does not contribute to the flow of the post. ex. "cool" "OK" Generally speaking posts should be at least a sentence long.
• a post which is made purely to boost your post count numbers
• a post to tell us what you ate for dinner, where you are going for the weekend, or who your new best friends are (Unless that is what the topic is about).
• a response of just an emoticon
• shameless plugs or advertisements

Unless the site is relevant to the topic do not post the link. The staff also reserves the right to decide what is and isn’t spam. If it Beyond Good and Evil related then you may post the link to your own website or another webpage you are allowed one advertisement per twenty-four hour period.

Breaking these ules will result in a warning and if repeated enough (under staff discretion) a ban.

Be respectful to all members
If someone disagree with you don’t get angry. That’s the wonderful thing about opinions. Everybody’s got one and they don’t have to be the same. Respect members’ right to their own opinion. Don’t get angry with members and be respectful. Obscene speech or sexual references will not be tolerated. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.


All staff members reserve the right to make judgment calls as they see fit. They may delete, move, or edit any topics or posts. All single offences are usually punishable by a warning, a suspension, or banning. Multiple offenses are never punishable by a warning. Multiple violations of the rules, especially the same rule, are punishable by suspension and a banning. The degree of the judgment is made by the moderating staff member. If you feel the need to contest your judgment you may e-mail or PM the judging moderator.

OPINIONS
The opinions and comments made in the posts written by our users are the rights to and the responsibility of the individual user. The staff at this forum and the hosters assumes no responsibility of the content expressed or implied by its users.

POST COUNT
Do not talk about your post count. It does not matter here. Topics or posts on this subject will be deleted. Post count is for enjoyment only and should not be taken seriously

POSTING TO BE LOCKED
Do not post for the topic to be locked please pm the mod of that forum. This just clutters the forum and is annoying. It may also offend the topic starter. This also goes with posts to be deleted.

AVATARS
As a guideline, we encourage avatars to be no larger than 100x100 pixels. We will not be hosting them here and you will have to find another place. Sorry just not going to waste bandwidth on that. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 25 KB. Since it is only encouraged, if you have an avatar a little bigger it will be allowed under discretion of the staff.

SIGNATURES
For this time we ask of any images in signatures to be no bigger than 200 pixels high and 500 pixels wide. If any such signature is bigger we will ask of you to remove or resize. If orders are not followed it will be removed by the staff resulting in a warning.
