that is absolutely AMAZING! wow Alexa, you really have a tallent with MS paint. you shall be worshiped! :D if i was going to critique it, i'd say that the only things you should change are 1. to make her nose more curved and 2. to make her a little more smiley :).

Just found some art I did for the BGE movie forums ( -_- ) which I thought I could share here. I also have LOADS of BG&E wallpapers that I once collected when I organized a BG&E wallpaper competition.
I'll start with my Alpha Sections logo I made for the BGE movie.

Today, I was in a BG&E frenzy and made not one, but two wallpapers (almost the same though). It took me a couple of hours since I'm pretty noobish with Photoshop. I tried to upload them to photobucket but they were resized and they're like 300 by something pixels.

I'll show them anyway although there rather small. Suggestions are very welcome!





The second one has an edited mountain that looks alot like BGE, I also added a little building in the bge style and some antennas like you'll find in our favourite game.

Hehe, another Photoshopper! Very good, I'm sorry to say that I'm not going to work with photoshop like other members of the community do now, my interests lie somewhere else. But it's always good to see people photoshop around here. I lo0ve looking at BG&E pictures, especially unique ones that the photoshop creations usually are. Like yours, Duke, they're pretty good. Maybe you can make Jade a bit painting-like to blend in with the background.

I of course COULD do it. But I like the contrast between those two.
BTW. You should come online on MSN so I can send you the full versions ;)

Hmmm... A suggestion to Duke, if I may. Despite the fact that it's difficult to make out exactly how everything works on such a small size, I would say that if you could put the lighting from the first pic and that mountain from the second pic in the same one, you'd have something incredible.

Its A3 size (Or WAS in Photoshop) and so print it out, pin it under two sheet of A3 acetate plastic sheet, mark out with thinline marker and attack with a stanley knife or at best a thin precision modelling knife, and you should end up with some stencils like what Im gonna go and get my digital camera out for... but in de meantime have some lovely soviet style revolution Jade poster.

I've seen a red Jade before, but never like this. Awesome pic you made there, Futurefish. I'm glad to see you around. Too bad the forum has a really really quiet day today, though.

Lol, its not that hard... just getting the right pic with her gazing off into the distance, and fiddling the contrast, making the shadows black and the midtones red. Easy peasy. The "Gazing into distance" thing is a technique often used by photographers- it makes the people doing it look like visionaries, dreaming of a better tommorow. You can see it in the famous pic of Che guevara and lenin and stalin etc etc. THe red looks very soviet, and I think Im gonna carry the red revolution theme on.
