I'm heading up the project and am willing to help with some of the coding specifically. I'm okay at graphic design but should probably leave that to the experts.

I know my way around Photoshop and I have a friend who works as web designer at Harvard University that I could go to for help or advice if needed.

I'm more of a writer than a designer, so I'll help write up the wiki or any information you need on the pages. I'd do more, but I'm kinda pressed for time.

So here goes:
My abilities:
- Writing: Whatever you need written, I'm your man. I've been told to be a witty writer, so I guess that's true. I can write pages full of nonsense or full of info. Your pick. Also, it might be handy to mention that I can even write some stuff in other languages like Dutch (my mother language, but my father speaks it as well...), German and French. My German is reasonable and my French is bad, but I come a long way with translator and the knowledge of the languages.

- Programming: I have full programming skills in Basic, although I haven't written anything in a few years. It's a pretty useless language. I can read and edit HTML, and I come a long way using the internet as my sidekick. Same goes for JAVA, but I'm afraid my skills are even more limited in that. I'm a quick study when it comes to programming though.

- Image design: I'm mostly an artist on paper, and I'm quite the lazy one. Single image designs, or logo's are my strength. The digitalizing of these things is my weakness though, it takes me hours to colour something in Photoshop, but I do get a result eventually.

That's about it. Except that I'm a reasonably experienced cook and dishwasher.

I could help in coding/designing website, but not too much in Photoshop, because I'm not able to tell how much I know it inside out.
Sometimes in Photoshop I get something done nicely, and sometimes I need to start over. I'm more having fun with it than doing something seriously (nearly the same with my website), but I can try to do some logos.
I need to install BG&E first, yet that shouldn't be any problem.

EDIT1: Also, I like to translate from English to Polish, and I do it better than translating from Polish to English.

I'll be able to brainstorm ideas and write whatever is needed. I'll also plan on making a MV to celebrate the opening of the site.

I'm a native German speaker and I'm able to speak English quite well. Also, I know HTML, CSS and a bit of graphic design.

Graphics and shit. Give me a thing and I'll do the thing. I have limited but expandable knowledge of coding, so I can organise a page. That being said, I don't have the actual tools, so if you can provide me a template, I can work with it.

I can make graphics, and gif animations.
I’m good at making banners, buttons, backgrounds and that sort of thing.

I’ve been pretty busy lately but I always get stuff done eventually.

I can write! I've been told I write fairly well, too. And I can also edit and give critiques on other writers, if need be. :P I'm afraid I am more or less monolingual (English), but, being a native speaker, maybe I can help catch an ESL error or two. :P

I'm good at writing (at least, that's what I was said) and can review others works (but I think that's what every writer can :P) - not to mention translation to and from Polish. I'm also fine at planning the overall outlook of things and brainstorming ideas.

I guess I would say my talents would be drawing (but I only have paint shop pro so my digital art isn't very good) I'm very good at movie editing if that helps in some way and I've been told I'm a very good writer, but I usually don't enjoy that (I"m sure I could do it for a great cause like BGAE. though :P ) I'm a lso a grammer freak so if anyone needs a proof reader for writing I'm your person ^_^

Let's see. A hopeless generalist is me. Graphicky guy first, coder next. 2D, 3D, some vector. Try to keep as much work in modo401+pscs4 as possible.

I occasionally bone up on web best-practices, CA and design strategies just because it's a personal interest. I'd get a kick out of actually putting it into practice somewhere.

Um, hmm. The programmerly side... Markup (xml, html, etc.), CSS (2 and 3), some PHP (try to stay away from it, but I'll use 5 if I have to), Python (preferred backend), some perl (preferred language to create user-input-sanitizers with), Javascript (including the various yummy APIs - I'm not above 'em, they're fabulous), ActionScript 3 (only for games and stupid widgets, though... never for design: flash-only sites are entirely and completely wrong, always). I am unfortunately a little weak on my database-fu, but I could probably take some time to relearn and practice... get my postgre- and my- chops back up. On the non-web front: some C, some ObjC2, some C++, various deprecated languages laying by the wayside.

Again, generalist on the coding end so I'm no swift code-ninja, but my focus has always been web.

Translate from French into English and Vise Versa (I have Standard Grade* French)

** A Higher is The University Entrance Level for Scottish Universities

Unfortunately, I'm way too busy right now to help with this. I might be able to stop in and check up on y'all from time to time, throw you a bone or something. But, real life is pretty demanding. Back when I joined this site I was fresh out of high school and had time time time to design and goof off with stuff; it's cool that I was able to skin the forum.

But now I've got bills and a job and have to admit that sitting down for hours to provide graphics and skins for y'all... I just can't do it. I wish ya luck, and will be trying to stay more or less around. I'm sure y'all can manage without me.

Wow...It's been a while since I came to this forum a day or two after beating BGE for the first time. Sadly, I lost track of this place after that... but when I got that e-mail, I remembered you guys, remembered that beautiful game. I would be glad to help in any way I can, but I must admit all I can do is draw, and my digital art is not that good- I only have Gimp, basically. If you need American cartoony artwork of these guys, or perhaps hand-drawn smileys for the forum, I think I'm your man. But glad to see this place alive again! Bravo! :handjeklap:

I can help with the artistic part and i can also translate French and English (a little bit of Spanish but I'm sure there are better people then me out there!)
My sister does website design so maybe i could ask her a favour or something (in fact she is starting some kind of company and she is also a fashion designer so she is good with artistic stuff too)
I also have some talent in writing...
I'd love to help and I'll whatever is possible for what little that is
I think it would be a good idea for a bunch of people to plan a chat and brainstorm if that isn't already done, anyone comes up with brilliant ideas once you get into the conversation :)
I think its a great idea to make polls asking for opinions so everyone would have a say in the matter (I saw one somewhere)

I've created a LOT of websites. I love working on the internet, coding, and all things web. As for a resume:

Strengths
Coding Languages ...HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, SQL, Pearl

Photoshop ...great at airbrushing and editing, plus I can take any image of a website and convert it into a website

Joomla ...this is a content management system that I literally work with on a daily basis. I can write code, create templates, and teach it very easily

Search Engine Optimization ...with a knowledge of code I'm able to create sites that turn up in an early result on a search engine

Web 2.0 ...connectivity with Social Networking sites, news aggregators, and online communities

Web Designer ...I know how to build an effective website from the ground up. How to dream, how to outline, how to organize, how to plan, how to design, how to build, how to refine, how to test, and how to launch

Connections ...it's not what you, but who you know. I have friends that also code and could help, answer questions, and get a perspective/idea from. Also, know fan sites webmasters that we could do link exchange with.

Weakness
Creativity ...sometimes it's just not turned on

Photoshop [i]...don't think I can create an awesome looking website or logo, nope, I can only code it

Schedule ...lots of responsibilities and an unpredictable schedule make it hard for me to do my own thing at times

I am a freelance web designer and it has allowed me to pay to go to college. Worked with the Web for the past five years now. Totally self taught, but have read more than ten books and countless internet articles to get me where I am now. I've made numerous websites and currently am webmaster for six websites.
