It is pronounced "Halloween".

Meh, I don't really don't do the whole Halloween thing. Too many kids demanding money (not just sweets anymore...) and throwing things at your house if you refuse.

...

Gods, I sound old.

I would have passed halloween, i love wearing the costume and getting free candy
however i couldnt go after all, i also had tickets for a metallica concert but had to cancel that too... turns out something showed up and i had to turn my priorities elsewhere.
Still my school usually celebrates halloween and it's always an awesome party. They usually hire a comedian, have a disco and a bunch of other fun things, at least i got to wear my costume there.

Here is a really awesome halloween costume some dude made, I had to stop him and take a picture

How much money do they want?

It depends. We didn't get any this year (went to the cinema instead of staying in and waiting for them), but last year some kid asked for £5 after we gave him a chocolate bar. This close to hitting him in the face, I swear - he didn't even have a costume, just showed up at our door in a hoodie!

I would be tempted to do the very same...
only i wouldn't have given the chocolate bar

Mine was good, my aunt and uncle hold this little haunted house at thier house. They put up signs everywhere to let the town know their there. there's decorations outside and everyone dresses up in scary outfits to scare visitors and visitors come and look around and stuff to see how it is. and trick or treat of course. I went as a dark hunter from etrian oddessey, my own version of course. I also had a pumpkin head, i decided to put that on later and just to walk around and stuff. I had a whip and 3 toy daggers, there was this one kid that said something like "your lame" so i took a dagger out and whip and i made him flinch by using the items in a way that it didn't hit him. then later i went by a table that had brains and other bodily things and pertended to be a store owner, one kid even took out money! he wanted to buy a squishy skeleton. But it wasn't for sale so i just froze and then he went away. I even scared someone by accident, see in the game kya dark lineage the store owners comee up from the ground on an elevator thing. So i figure why not do that, ecxept there's no elevator so i'll just pop up from under the table! i did and this one lady got so freaked out! it was funny.
Jinx went too, he was a dead hobo.
Mainly what happens is everyone dresses up all scary and tries to scare the visitors and some people even decide to pretend they aren't real and then scare someone when they are trying to figure out if it's real or not.
It's also for a good cause, you see my aunt's cousin died of cystic fibrosis. So in the front of the house is a tube for money and there is a sign talking about the cousin and if the visitor wants they can donate money to a charity and they collect all the money and send it to scientists so they can cure cistic fibrosis

But my legs hurt after it, so much that i fell asleep and missed moribito on tv!
