View skins

The shoutbox has been here for only a few days and already much has been said about it. The scrolling problem has been solved but now there's something else. The colours aren't to everyone's tastes. So I decided to show you the skins that are ready to be used. In the poll you can make a vote for it. But you can also choose for "different" and say what you got in mind. Maybe you like a skin, but you don't like the colour of the letters. Just say it and I'll have a look at it. I don't entirely understand the codes used for these colours, but if the skin is eventually chosen and there are some special requests for it too, then I can look into it and (hopefully) change it.

I vote for Classic Dark. The box is in a black area of the forum, so a black box could work.

Isn't transparent: see through? I mean if you choose that one it should be the background color :D

Yes, but I did that before and if you choose that (something I forgot to mention), the colour of the letter's should be changed to. Or else they will be unreadable. But, this is possible, so the option will remain in the poll.

I think yellow would fit good. It's not cause my favorite football team has the same collours I just think green and yellow is a good combination ^_^

i tell you what i think... when you walk around the pedestrian district, jet around the sea, creep around the slaughter houses or talk to anyone in the game, the green aspect of the game is very very sparce... it's actually only apparent in small quantities, those colours then being exaggerated from the surroundings. i think that the whole forum theme should be woody browns, light grey stone walls and light oranges and blues, with sharp, hard tones of green in Jade and in the other aspects of the forum that are small and sparse, such as the chatbox. but i'm still working on how i'd begin that task, and i don't think it would necessarily go down well either. thoughts?

Hmmm, I love the green. I'm not getting tired of it at all. I love the blueish colours of the caves in the game as well. But no brown from the factory and slaughter houses, that wouldn't loook nice here. I don't think it would be necessairy to change the colours here. Green is what suits this forum somehow.

But greenish blue,which appears mostly in the game is quite good... :)

Hmmm...Hard choice...I like blue,but it doesn't fits here...Black is too black,I think...And there are problems with transparent...Ok,let the moss one stay :P

why don't we have random colours. There must be a way the pc decides what colour the box is and then every day is different :P .

Well, I can manually change, but if we come to a decision for a good colour I think we should stick to that, really.

I just love colours. Not only green but everry colour (well almost every colour I hate shitbrown :P ) :P :D

nope! i knew someone would say that, i was just wondering who... the sky/water and grassy hills are predomanently greeny blue, but most of the actual envirnments have very little vivid green in them.. maybe the odd but of light green, but any strong greens are only around about Jade herself. after that, it's a wide variety of other colours designed to compliment the greens... just have a little look around in the pedestrian district for example, and see how much green or blue there is...

Different we need one that’s a darker green to match the site, but since we can’t I think moss is the though as an Oregonian I can tell you it doesn’t look the color of real moss (lol)
