Jade is my favourite. She's got a great personality, she is kind and funny. She kicks ass like no other heroine and she manages to look hot even though she has a slightly stylised look. Jade rulez!!! B)

Anyway, my favorite female hero is Jade as well. I'll never get over how much fun I hid kicking the alpha's in the back and watch them fly in circles all over the screen! Finnaly, to explode! Woot!

April Ryan (main character in The Longest Journey) is my favourite, followed by Jade and then Cortana (A.I. in Halo).

JADE RULEEEEEEEZ!!! B) She's my favourite!!! I like Jade for all the reasons you guys do but I find the 'hottest' to be Aya. Heck apart from that did you guys actually take the time to bother about the other gals?(apart from Lara Croft man I HATE her!) Cause you should. Really, you should.

Hmm.. Everyone else is cool. I like all the heroines in all their..Ahem, Glory.

Jade is the best out of all of them, in my opinion. Jade is much more like a girl you could actually find around your block and actually talk to. Not only is she kid-friendly, she can also handle herself if the situation arises. She also has heart and something to fight for. She wasn't trained(legally) to take care of the odds, but when help is needed, she went out there and gave it her all!(Unless you sneaked around alot.) And her uncle is a pig! Literally! Could you imagine how much fun the family reunion would be?!

Alyx - Don't know. HL2 doesn't run on my computer cause I either: A-Don't have the game or B-My computer is a Dell.

Heather - I will admit, she could take care of herself no matter the situation. Those creatures were so scary and creepy, I can't imagine anyone else facing those things and living to tell about it.(Except for Jill Valentine, Jade, Heather, Aya, etc.) But you get the idea. If only they'd show more personality out of her in the game then I would have picked up on her a little bit more. Good stuff though.

Joanna Dark - Not only is she a spy and hot, she has an English accent!(Or British. Get those two mixed up) Intelligent and definitly someone you would want on your side when the school bully comes around, Joanna is James Bond's blood.

Jill Valentine - Has anyone seen that movie?! Resident Evil apocolypse?! My word, she is hot both in game and in real life! Aside from that, a strong, capable woman who probably got laughed at when she first signed on to be part of the S.T.A.R.S. force but now proves she has what it takes to kick butt and take names. And look good at the same time.

Aya Brea - Another character not to familiar with. I saw some of the baddies from the game Parasite Eve though. She has to be one tough chica to face them dudes.

Lara Croft - Umm... She is a mixture of both physical skill and knowledge but she is lacking something else. I don't know. Indiana jones wanted to find rare artifacts to bring to museums for all to see(and to get paid) but Lara.. well, she is already rich and it just seems she is doing it just for the heck of it. Still, if she asked if I would join her in the hot tub, I'll be there with bells on.

Agree with you on all your points, JerichoMccoy.Thanks! I thought you all were so crazy you wouldn't bother about the others!! ;) About Aya and Alyx, here's info.

Alyx- As I said earlier, she's got style. She knocks out 4 civil protection units(enemies) with bare hands!!!! Rebel which fights with a motive. Handles herself very easily, same with Barney. Very agile. A bit like the Prince at one part. She shoots like a pro and will freak you out with amount of expressions she has. Largest amount I've seen in any video game. She's firm about her decisions and knows how to keep her calm. Supposedly ressembles a whole lot to Jade. :blink: She's second in my favourites.

Aya Brea- A bit hard to define her character, if you ask me. Well, what do I say? Very intelligent(Especially in Biology. She's blonde, but I suppose you too find that statement 'blondes are dumb' stupid) Confident. Courageous(very). Kind. Kid-friendly atleast with the single kid I saw. Can easily handle herself. Gives the best she has. Got a sense of responsibilities. Very pretty. She's deadly accurate with a gun. Does her job well(NYPD Cop). She's tough alright, but it doesn't show much(it does at certain points). Especially at the beginning of PE2. She's lost her mother and sister in an accident and still continues to live. You should buy yourself a copy of Parasite eve, it's definitely worth playing. PE 1&2 have got totally different styles, mind you(it still continues the same storyline and keeps the heroine though).

Hope that helped. :D When Half-life 2 gets released on consoles(hope you have one) you should buy yourself a copy. If you've got that %$^$*£^£&"£& Playstation 1 you can play PE 1&2.

I just thought about commenting about my (ONLY :o ) vote for Alyx.

Before I played Half-Life 2, I'd have voted for Jade, but heck Alyx just knows how to handle herself so well (and she looks good too :lol: ) that my choice shifted.

For the first part of your reply:
Making a skin that makes Alyx look like Jade? Man, that's difficult like hell! The geometry of Jade's face is stylised and not 100% life-like. It would mean having to use HL2's SDK (which I've never done) to create a whole new model! As for making a mod of BGE that's impossible... But yeah, it would be great having a
life-like Jade model don't you think?

And for the "dating" part:
I'd much prefer dating Alyx than Jade. Here's why:
1. Alyx is EXTREMELY intelligent cuz she can repair and actually help make stuff that her dad (a scientist in the Black Mesa Facility) spent years studying and developing. Plus she's a top hacker and so I could tell her to hack into UBISOFT's servers and make her authorise the development of BGE2!!!!!!
(wishful and nonsensical thought I know). And she could do my physics homework too :ph43r: ....
2. Alyx doesn't look after an orphanage (I think there's no kids in HL2 cuz the aliens suppressed the human reproductive cycle O_o) and she hasn't got a job (kinda difficult to find when you're fighting against the 'government') so, 'cept for the times when she'd be occupied killing bad guys to preserve social peace, she'd be free all the time! So getting a date would be very simple.
3. She knows how to fight so just in case the combine bombards you with a hoard of aliens you could just run away like a coward and let her do all the fighting. She'd survive anyway so you could make up for letting her take care of 'em later. If she dies, well too bad (heh heh heh)....
4. And she looks better than Jade too. :rolleyes:

1. Jade is EXTREMELY kind and caring for those around her. Who else would take up war orphans into their home? And she plays around with them like if they were her neighbor kids or even her own kids. But that special bond would allow her to go out when she wants to and let Double H and Pey'J take care of the kids while she goes out and has fun.. heh heh..
2. Jade is also a reporter which means she can get backstage passes to almost anything! She can say she is doing an interview of the latest rock group, show her reporters pass(If you remove the P..), and then she'd be able to get you the best seats in the house. Movies, Concerts, Interviews... You name it.
3. Jade knows how to fight AND has some special power in her that heals all around her. Look at that special move she has! Does Alyx has anything like that in her arsenal?(Except for the gravity gun and that walking Robot-Dog thing). Plus she can drive and pilot a Spaceship! C'mon you know you want her..
4. In real life, Jade would look better than Alyx. That green goes so good with her.. :rolleyes:

I wish I could have a cartoony look and move to Hillys, not during the war though. Then I could see Jade and Pey'j and everyone else and I could talk to them and explore the wonderful world of Hillys. Then it wouldn't matter that they're not real life, because I wouldn't be either. Hey! We're not crazy! I speak for one of us that we are privilage to google at anime-inspired and computer-generated female characters that wish they were real so we can have a great date!(Ok, so its me we're talking about here but that is beside the point!)

And about Alyx's arsenal, she's got much more than good looks and brains. It's not mentioned in the game, but I'm sure she could drive just about ANY vehicle, be it a buggy or a combine gunship (which looks like it can travel in space). Plus, she's gotta have a hell of a lot of skill at stealthing around (like -or more than- Jade) cuz she manages to get in to a suppressor field (invisible force field that goes around disintegrating anybody found in the protected area) guarded citadel in which thousands of those combine bastards look like they're preparing... Well, I won't spoil the game's story.

Getting places for any concert, etc would be outright IMPOSSIBLE in city 17 (or in just about any city on the planet for that matter) cuz in HL2 those goddamn aliens have control over EVERYTHING, no flashy clothes, no gadgets, no entertainment, heck those poor humans don't even get decent food! Surviving in such a devastated place would take nerves of steel...

I'm not saying I don't like Jade (heck if it wasn't for Alyx she'd be my preferate - as I mentioned earlier), it's just that I like Alyx more.

Hey Jericho, 'bout that double date to Vice City, why not? It would be great, the only problem being that Vercetti dude going on a killing spree in a tank around the city (nothing Alyx can't handle ;) ). Anyway, I'm taking my precautions: I borrowed Heather her beam saber just in case, though I probably won't need it cuz Alyx and Jade would probably eliminate any threat before we even realise it! So, how about having that double-date ( :lol: )? Heard the town's safer on mondays cuz Tommy's occupied killing Cubans that day, so we should be safe if we don't go there...

Hey Jericho I got too impatient and went to Vice City with Alyx anyway. Nice place really, until that Vercetti guy showed up blasting everyone to pieces with his tank. Fortunately I got the bright idea of running away, hijacking a helicopter (with Alyx of course), sent it crash landing on the streets (after conveniently hijacking another one in mid air before the crash :huh: ) and blew up a gas pipe (and half of the city) next to the tank. It flipped over and Tommy went to meet Bloodrayne shortly afterwards. There wasn't much left to see in the city after that so we decided to go to Halo, but it was closed for renovations and we had to go back home. Quite an interesting date if you ask me... :P

Oh yeah and you didn't play HALO?! Man, you really missed one hell of a shooting game.

For Amy and Rouge, did you play Sonic Battle? It shows their true personality. I HATE the artwork of some characters in Chrono trigger such as Lucca and Ayla.

Yeah, Lucca, Ayla, and Robo eaxh had quirky animation. They were not even the main part of the game so I wouldn't consider them a classic character.

I voted Samus Aran, because it was teh originator for female leads in vids, and it showed us that a woman doesn't have to show her sexiness to be in a game/movie/whatever (although at the ending, we could see her in a bikini ;) )

Sorry, I had to go with Ms. Dark on this one. I have spent over 200 hours on Perfect Dark for the N64. My friends and I are junkies...yeah, I know.

Jade is my number one. She unites all advantages: she's spontaneous, independent, attractive, sympathetic, and she looks great in green! Ow, she's of course thoughtful - she takes care of Pey'j, Double H and kids (but I think it's an contentious issue - since the beginning they've been alone in the lighthouse. When it has blown, first I fought it was only gas explosion :))
My number two is Alyx Vance. Hey, have you heard about the new Half-Life 2 Expansion? The main character will be Alyx! :D Yahoo! I can't wait!
