Welcome to the Second Character Battle Arena! This time, the forum member volunteers are going to fight against each other. Do not fear, for there will be no bleeding or broken bones (I hope...) - the participants are only going to compete in four different competitions. Those are: Insults, Lore, Riddles and Creation.

The brave volunteers are: Alexa, BG&E Voyager, Fomorian (only Insults and Riddles), JFSOCC, Lightweight, The_Evil_Reaper, Ugly Duck (Phil) and Zay-el.

The rules of the Arena are simple:

To this I will add only one - when you vote for one of the fighters, post on who you have voted.

Now, I shall shortly describe what are the rules of the competition categories.

INSULTS

- The Fighters are going to insult each other - nothing vulgar, ONLY funny insults allowed.
- They do this until one of them declares his will to end the battle.
- After that, they stop insulting each other and the judges (the viewers) are voting for the one, whose insults they liked the most.
- As you probably guessed, the one that gets more votes wins and takes part in another round of it.

The Insults category schedule:



LORE

- The Fighters are going to ask each other questions about an earlier specified topic.
- They do this until one of them declares his will to end the battle.
- The one that answered the most questions - wins.

The Lore category schedule:



RIDDLES

- All Fighters are trying to solve a riddle (a mix of riddles, graphic puzzles etc.)
- They can ask for hints, but only TWO are allowed.
- When they think they've got the answer, they PM me. If the answer is not correct, I will say so.
- The first Fighters wins.

CREATION

- All Fighters are preparing something about the given subject.
- They are free to choose what they are going to do.
- The subject will be PMed to the Fighters long before the battle, so there is no rush. Also, you will be informed about the deadline.
- When the deadline comes, the Fighters present their work.
- The judges (the viewers) vote for the work they liked the most.
- The Fighter, that get the most votes - wins.

Apart from riddles I'm good with all of the categories :)

i had this idea for creation, but having ADHD (just found out, actually) means i keep putting it off. i haven't actually done any creating yet. so form, tell us about the approximate time needed?

oh, and BTW i already finsihed a small list of insults for Lightweight, some insulting, some just funny, most really lame.

Hmmm... time is the biggest problem, cause I don't really know how long will the battles before first round's Creation Battle.

Approximately try to do most of it in a month and half, or even two. I think we can give about a week for one battle in Insults and Lore which gives... six weeks for whole of them... And the Riddle's first round will probably take some time. So about two months.

So would i get a free pass to the semi final if i beat alexa or would i have to beat someone else first? Maybe one of the losers from round 1?

maybe just a forum member will be brave enough to stand up against the winner and try to regain the honour of the loser. (I have no idea what I just said but I thought it looked nice :P )

Why do you think there is a yellow-box under the one for winner of battle you vs Alexa? You think I put it, because I had nothing better to do? :P

Secondly - what makes you think you'll win with Alexa? :rolleyes:

I probably won't, I said "if". I won't win because you'll all vote for the 15 year old girl as opposed to God himself. Everyone likes an underdog :).

Seriously though, i'm prepared for the fact that i'm not going to win, and i don't mind. The only merit that i hold is that if i do win, i'll provide a magificent semi-final battle. But this isn't my fight. I'm not going to win this, i'll just be a good exhibitionist :).

Hi! :) I thought I made clear that I wanted to be a part of this, but I guess I didn't anyway... so whatever lowlife scum, born from the mixture of genetically mutated "run outta control" experiments, has organised this horrible tournament of death, better put me in! That way I can at least save the face of this forum a little...

OK, I edited the first post. Reaper's first fighter in Insults and Lore will be my self.

Nice tournament, I'll be watching it a bit more, but now it is a bit overwhelming to view all of it.
